Comfortable
Very comfortable. They are itchy like others say but not bad enough to not wear them. They function the way they are supposed and keep your feet dry.

Recommend!
With a husband who works out in the cold, we’re always looking for things to help him stay warm. These have been amazing! He loves them. They’re comfortable and keep him warm.

Warm and stay Up
These socks are great and they do not squeeze too hard although I do not suffer from edema so this may not be the case for everyone. I’m a knitter and these socks are not quite as good as socks I would knit with yarn that has a higher alpaca content, they are of a pretty solid quality and I would buy more for myself because thy are keeping my feet warm and dry.

Wool = warmth
For all the different materials out there these days, you can't go wrong with wool to keep you warm. I was thinking since it was made with alpaca and merino they would be soft but the socks feels wooly to the touch. Once on the feet they are more than comfortable. They fit nicely. (Women's size small and I wear an 7.5) I like that they are pre-shrunk. I didn't see washing instructions on the packaging but would wash them in cold water either by hand or in the delicate cycle and lay flat to dry.Can't say how warm they are with my boots; it hasn't stayed cold enough, yet!

Look nice, but scratchy feeling
Nice looking, but I was disappointed with these socks because they are uncomfortable because of their scratchy wool feeling. I do not like the way that they feel. The socks were advertised to be a blend including merino wool and alpaca wool. I have several pairs of socks that are merino wool or blends, and a few pairs of alpaca wool blend socks. none of those socks are scratchy.

Good socks but itchy
They seem like good wool socks. But not soft to the touch like the ones I bought from Pacas.com. Actually kind of itchy for me. So I'm returning them. Next time I will look more closely at what other fibers they use with the alpaca wool.
