Our old one was out of date this one fits the bill

This remote works so much better than the other ones I have purchased from this seller. Has something changed? I no longer get a message on my tv saying remote needs to connect. This is the easiest remote to use, even in the dark. Other tv brands need to take note. I call this the iPhone remote. Easy as an iPhone to operate. All the others are like an Android. Remote for dummies. My husband hates this remote, not sure why.

It does work, but being infrared, it has to obviously be pointed at the tv. My original worked from any direction, any nearby room, and even under blankets. Despite the model and part number codes supposedly matching, it performed poorly compared to my original. There's no way to know, what I had just by those numbers, but I bought another that was bluetooth and that gave the performance from anywhere that I had before. Like I said this one works, just not as well as OEM. Just because sellers claim it's the same doesn't mean it is. So if you can, test your original before ordering. If it works even when under a pillow and pointing away from the TV, etc. ,chances are it's bluetooth and NOT infrared. This one will be going back.

The controller works great. The batteries were dead, no problem, I had some.

When I first tried the remote it worked, but it was kind of sluggish and missed some presses. What I didn't realize was that the remote will actually control things through IR as well as bluetooth. Once I paired it with the tv through bluetooth, the remote worked perfectly. It was very responsive. I don't use voice command, and haven't tried every feature yet, since I don't use them, but from what I have used, it is a perfect replacement for the original.

The buttons were not the most responsive Delays on tv reading the signals from this for some reason.

Updated review: have had this product for a month now and it’s just garbage. The controls lag, there’s a delay in response and EVERY TIME you double tap the left side of the center circle, it turns the tv off. It really makes searching and scrolling an annoying nightmare! The voice control does not work; it’s like the microphone is not capable of hearing more than one word at a time. Never again. $17.99 is too much for this garbage.
