Q: Could I mount this upside down so I can dry my hair from underneath?

Hello, this blow dryer holder was not designed to be mounted upside down. It definitely could be mounted upside down, though we have not tested it that way for functionality in holding a hair dryer or for angling properly.

Q: What is the measurement of the round base that attaches to the wall? Also, I know the arm moves back & forth but can you twist the head of dryer too?

The base that attaches to the wall is 4.5 inches wide. The neck moves front to back and side to side. The head will rotate all the way around if you wanted it to.

Q: Is it easy to remove the blow dryer from the arm? Or once you place it, do you leave it there?

It's very easy to remove your hair dryer, you just lift your hair dryer up to clear the holder arm. Replacing your hair dryer is just as easy. I love it. It has recently become dual purpose: it helps to dry off my husband's back since he broke his shoulder and has limited mobility. I leave my in the holder almost all of the time since it is not in the way in our bathroom.

Q: Can you push the holder and hairdryer so that it is parallel to the wall? I have a small bathroom and this would block the mirror if not. Thanks

The "arm" that holds your hair dryer and that is attached to the mount does not swing the side to be parallel to the wall. It moves up & down. But mine extends only 5" out from the wall (including mount). Width is about 4" total. I have it mounted in a pretty small space. The inside width of the part holding the hair dryer is a tad over 1.5".
