Good Quality Kit and makes a great gift

Great Quality
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. It is very good quality for the price. He was able to make it his own and he works in a garage all day so it comes in handy. Extremely light and sharp!

screw sizes didn't fit!!!
I got this product for my daughter and she loved it! However, the screw sizes were way too small so you either have to cut the handle down by half or get new screws which is quite a hassle.

Cant really beat it china made or not
This is the 3rd knife I bought. I am 100% satisfied with the shipping service each time. As 1 of the other comments said, the wooded material is not the best! But you can definitely use it, and with enough hand sanding have a pretty decent knife handle.Knives themselves are China made I believe. I am pro American but I'm also pro feeding the family.I wouldn't depend on this knife to be super awesome . But if you are just starting out or like me, I replace their wood for my own and make the handlesChina made or not, it's fun cheap and will cut

Great steel
Great gift idea unfortunately the wood that came for the handles was a little warped it's going to take some extra sanding I would suggest anybody buying one of these gets themselves a table vise

Missing parts
Missing 2 pin screws, included drilling bit seems to large

Not a fan of this kit.
While there is a drill bit included, it was too big for the holes in the knife blank. So I had to find one that would fit. Also you will need a countersink bit and your own epoxy. Hopefully you understand how and when to use the epoy because the instructions don't even reference epoxy use. The barrel bolt pins are pretty low quality. The screw heads started getting stripped very quickly. I had to remove them and discard them. Lastly when you sand the wood, it changes the color.
