Great looking and easy to install gas stove top
The media could not be loaded. This stove top comes literally ready to be used. The stove has these small rubberized legs to be placed on any flat surface, the same that it can be mounted on a counter with the included measuring cutout. The stove looks great, with a very nice finish. It can be connected to a 120v power outlet The stove has 4 burners. In general I am very pleased with the installation and how it performs.

Overall I am satisfied with this cooktop at this price.
Gas cooktops can be crazy expensive, so when we moved into a new house and didn't like the one there (a nice name brand, but only 3 burners?!) we started looking at non-name brand options.UNPACKINGIt appeared to come fairly well packaged, but as you can see in the photos, there were a bunch of dings and scratches and dents. It didn't appear to have been refurbed or a return, so not sure how it got all marked up other than at the factory or during packaging. In the photo with the biggest dent, it appeared to happen from the placement of the wok attachment packed underneath the cooktop. If you are really picky about what a new, inexpensive, appliance looks like, be ready to return this if it appears with as many small issues as ours did. That said, these didn't bother me a huge amount (but you can bet if I was spending a thousand or more, I would want it flawless).INSTALLATIONHubby is quite the handyman and he had no problem removing the old cooktop and installing this one. It did seem pretty straightforward - turn off gas, disconnect the gas line and unplug the stove, reconnect the new gas line, plug it in... We did have to run to Home Depot to get a new connector piece for the gas line - the included one was too small. We also needed to buy some sealant (we used adhesive foam stripping) to help attach the cooktop to the counter. We were then able to use the original brackets to tighten the cooktop in place (they didn't all fit but we were able to use most of them).COOKINGI do like that I now have five burners of different sizes. The wok attachment is cool and I have to find a pan that I can use with that to test it out. (That said, it definitely doens't look like a professional stove/wok burner as those usually have huge flames that come more up the side of the pan.)I did notice that on all the burners, there is not much difference between the LOW (one flame) setting and the HIGH (three flame) settings. With previous cooktops I've used, there is a definite difference between low (a barely visible flame) and high (screaming flames that overtake the side of the pan). ith this one, even staring straight at it, I don't see much difference. At first this seemed like a total dealbreaker, but if i need a lower flame, I just move it to one of the smaller burners. I consider it the tradeoff for getting an inexpensive 5-burner cooktop.OVERALLOverall I am satisfied with this cooktop at this price. If you are not handy at all, I recommend having a professional install it. If you are good with a youtube video tutorial, I think it's on the easier end of home projects.
