Q: What’s the height of the rim?

On my carpet, the rim hits just about 64". Please note that this unit can't fold up very easily - the controller that sits on the bar near where the player stands will hit the hoop rim and not allow it to fold completely - unless you kind of force the rim up (which may damage the rim/backboard in time). POP-A-SHOT will send you two 6" extension tubes for free if you contact them. These will extend the height of the unit by 6", allowing it to fold easily. The hoop rim will be at about 70" when using the extensions. I just got mine today. Please also note that this unit does NOT come with the wheels shown in the pictures, and they don't currently offer them (although it moves fairly easy without them). POP-A-Shot says they're going to be correcting the pics/descriptions. This Single Shot unit is very fun to play. In my room, I found that I need about 6" of space above the unit so the balls don't hit the ceiling when thrown.

Q: I live in an apartment on the bottom floor. Will it be too loud for my neighbors?

I think if you are on bottom floor it would probably be ok. We keep ours upstairs and it’s kinda loud but that’s in the same house
