Q: Is it a spindown or d20? The photo shows a spindown but the descripton says d20...

It is a regular d20, and it is regulation (opposing sides add to 21) I have not checked the balance of mine yet. The reason for a regular d20 and not a spindown is because several cards will ask you to roll for random effects. Other MTG bundles may come with spin downs for health. This does not.

Q: Does this product include foil lands and the foil Treasure Chest card? Some reviews are saying it does not.

It’s supposed to, but some don’t. I got two of these, and one had the pack with the foil lands and alt-art Treasure Chest, and the other replaced that pack with a second pack of standard lands.

Q: How many total cards? Do i need more for my son to make a starter deck?

around 150 cards are included, with a total of approximately 55 lands making a total of around 205 cards not including special foil copies. There is a good spread of choices and I've had an easy time building multiple starting decks from this. It's a fun investment and useful for an old hat or new blood. I would say this is a good option for a starter deck builder.

Not sure which version of the product you're viewing. The photos I see are in English, and the 2 bundles I ordered arrived and were English.
