Miller EngineeringPleiades Star disc for Homestar Flux,HS-38

I purchased this disc to go with my Flux home planetarium.It's a great image that works well.Can recommend this seller.

I was so excited to receive this disk as Pleiades is my favorite star system but, as others have stated in their reviews, it came with lots of scratches and imperfections that showed up in the projection. Also the disk fits loosely in my sega homestar flux. Though that’s less of an issue than all the scratches and flaws. Pretty terrible quality for the price.

I so wanted to like this disc. It's a beautiful picture, and the projected image is sharply in focus. However, there are numerous black specs in it! And the black specs are on some of the brightest parts of the projected image! I returned it for a replacement, and the replacement also had a bunch of black specs! (Quality control?) Unacceptable for something that cost forty dollars! I am unlikely to buy from this brand again!

I received my Pleiades star disc and I had the same problems as the other reviewers. I have always loved Miller Engineering’s products so I decided call them and ask them why so many problems with this disc. They informed what happened is customer uses/abuses the disc and then returns it to Amazon who then throws it back on the shelf for some other lucky customer. They were super nice and sent me a replacement disc right away as well as a free disc! My advice is buy them directly from their website. The whole Miller Engineering team is great!
