good gauge. best results seen while cooking. food cooked in all cookers is not same when it it comes to the final output.gauge is thick and the latent heat is high and rice cooked is soft, grains remain separated .try it you will understand.

This is a horrible product. I've been using cookers all my life. And this one was the most expensive one. It worked well for 3 uses and from the 4th use, the whistle is leaking. Whatever I cook in it, it gets blown out of the whistle and my entire kitchen is spoiled. On reaching their helpline, they're telling me I spoiled it. Are these guys even real to put such ridiculous allegations on the customer!!!!!I've never seen such a worse customer service and product ever in my life. Will never recommend it to anyone.

It is not 7 ltr but 5 ltr cooker.

my new cooker Vinod triply 5 ltr has small bumps like sewage wet wall paint bubble....I don't know what it is...otherwise the productis good.
