OzTent30 Second Expedition 5-6 Person Tent (50 Lb) 8.6 ft(W) x 8.6 ft(D) x 6.6 ft(H) + 6.6 ft(Awning)

My 1 star review is not for the tent but for the seller.The tent is great, its large enought for two xl cots with walking room down the middle. One thing to consider with the larger models (rv-4 rv-5) there is an aluminum bar that goes across the bottom. If you plan on sleeping front to back, it could cause some discomfort depending on your padding. On the smaller models i'm assuming you would sleep side to side and this souldnt be an issue.Our first trip out, we sustained 40mph gusts and 25 deg weather. The tent was fully staked out and didnt budge. It is ABSOLUTELY critical to manage the airflow in the colder temps. This is an easy task with the several vents and windows.Unfortunately, my unit came fairly blemished and had several poorly stiched areas around the windows that the factory seam sealed over. I contacted Family Tent Camping immedietly and sent pictures. We had a trip planned for the weekend and I was told it was ok to use the tent. I was assured that when I contacted them the following monday everything would be taken care of. After speaking with the owner of Family Tent Camping on Monday, I was told he was waiting to hear back from his supplier. The next day he called me back and informed me I would have to pay frieght to send the tent back and after they received the tent they would send a replacment and we would "try to figure out reinbursment".This to me is unacceptable. Any other reputable company would have sent out a replacment immediately and included a return label. When you buy a peice of equipment of this caliber and cost, it demands perfection and the highest customer service.With that being said, I do NOT recommend purchasing through Family Tent Camping.

I really like how easy this tent is to set up and take down (1 person can do it)! I also like that I can stand up inside the tent (I am 5'10 and my partner is 6'0). The awning is great and there is plenty of ventilation. The tent stays dry in rain, longest I've tested it was during 3 straight days of rain in the Rocky Mountains at 10'000 feet!It was a bit pricey, but so far, I have really enjoyed this tent and definitely recommend it!

Quality Tent, Heavyweight duty Canvas, Easy setup, Very comfortable and spacious, easily will hold two of the OZ tents large cots side by side and have room for all your gear. Hands down an excellent tent well worth the costs. Comes with HD storage bags that are waterproof and can be kept on a roof rack. Lots of adding for this tent. Capable of fitting your whole family. Easily setup with additions. We have everything but the add on tent.Why only 4 -stars. All said things come at an expense it is heavy. Although a I really can’t ding it for that. What I can ding the tent for is that it is very bulky and difficult for most to bring with you. Don’t expect to fit the tent in your trunk. Packed up it is still over five feet long. 80” packed. Still if you are a serious car camper or overlanding. It would be difficult to beat this kit.

Big , heavy for car camping 🏕 great. Works great winter / summer huge windows thick material warm during the coldest winter nights toasty with a little buddy heater or electric heater. Would purchase rain fly condensation may form during really rainy weather. Side panel and awning work really well.
