Fox shock review.
These shocks made a dramatic improvement over the Rough Country shocks that I replaced. I have a 3.5 inch lift with Metal Cloak springs and it handles excellent even at highway speeds.

Great look, good price, fast shipping
Great upgrade for ride quality. Looks better when you get it than the picture. The black reservoir looks sharp.

Awesome!
Overkill, but look great! Make sure to tighten the clamps properly! They will loosen and slide off. Expensive to relpace.

Love Fox but be careful on these for 4-6" Lift
I purchased these for my 2011 JK 4 door with a 4 inch rough country lift. A Fox rep at the 4WheelParts show in Orlando gave me the part numbers and assured me they are correct for my jeep configuration. Perhaps my springs are wearing out but I only have like 15K miles on them.... The shocks from rough country are super soft so I wanted to upgrade them. As you can see the front FOX shocks don't fit properly as the shock is too compressed at rest on the Jeep with too much of the piston in the shock. I could try to add more bump stop but this will limit my flex on trails. I called and spoke with Fox and the seller and basically ended up swapping the fronts out to another part number that they actually don't even manufacture any longer. The seller wouldn't take them back as I installed them on my Jeep. I probably could have lied but they have a few scuffs where I installed them. The rule of thumb for a shock is that 60 to 70% of the piston should be showing at rest on the vehicle when installed. These were far off that so I had no choice to swap them. I now have 2 new shocks in box that I'm going to have to sell third party on FB or CL or something. The rears fit fine so I kept them on.
