I decided to spend the extra money and finally get this Grease gun. I had my doubts about the design at first. But after putting it together, putting in the grease tube and the plastic follower. I pushed the follower in to cause about 1/4 inch out the top (as per instructions, screwed the top back on. Made sure the hose was securely attached and pumped it slowly for about 8 strokes I could feel the grease going into the hose and soon after grease came out the tip.Putting it to work was a snap. The locking tip locked on no hands necessary to hold and pumped a couple of pump strokes into each fitting (Easy pump with that big handle) It took no time at all to get to all of my zirks and that was without crawling around on the floor due to that 20 inch hose.The grease gun is made in Germany and assembled in the US.I can highly recommend this and just wished I had discovered this earlier it would have save me a lot of head aches and several choice words.

It is easy to load and prime and locks onto the alamite and stays and downs leak grease like all the others I’ve had !

The gun works as expected. There should be better instructions on loading the grease tube into the gun. There’s not even a relevant YouTube video for this product.

not what i expected didn't load cartridge very well and i sent it back

Good no mess pump and coupler. However at times it won't pump grease, I'd have to push the supplied orange insert by hand to get it pump again. Also the handle makes this impossible to use single handed if you have to pump not via the supplied coupler but via a needle insert, such as the ones for the RCV CV axles on my Jeep. If the provided hose would've been a bit longer, I could've keep the pump with my foot on the ground and pump with one hand while pushing the needle with the other (like I did with my old pump), but hose is too short for that - this became a two man job :(Nonetheless, it is much cleaner and easier to replace grease cans and is a no-mess pump. If only the hose was 6" longer...

Super easy to load and pushed plenty of grease with ease. I do wish that the end had some sort of cap to prevent other tools and things from getting there. There is still some grease left of the walls of the tube after the cap passes and transfers to other tools.

Following manufacturer instructions, I primed the grease gun. Not needing it for a couple weeks, I hung it on a workbench only to come back a few days later to find the entire contents of the grease tube on the ground. I cleaned up that mess and installed another grease tube. It has not pumped one bit no matter how hard I’ve tried. I do not recommend this item.
