Great fit.
My dryer decided to stop heating. So far researching what the problem could be, I decided to buy this. I wasn't sure I would work but I did thankfully. I will keep buying these until it no longer fixes my dryer issue.

Poor quality and a very serious Fire Hazard
This is a replacement for the same item ordered a few weeks earlier. The first lasted maybe 2 weeks. I thought maybe it was one of the thermostats and not the coil so I replaces the coil and all of the temp sensors this time. It lasted one week and then the coil exploded leaving sending several pieces of the coil onto the floor behind the drier as well as in the lower pan of the dryer. Thankfully I vacuumed and cleaned all the lint out last week when installing or it would have been a major fire hazard. We also have laminate flooring, (which now has about 10 burn marks from the coil shrapnel... Not only is this product of very poor quality, but it is also a very real and dangerous fire hazard.

Seems to work well
For some reason, I couldn't get the 397767 thermostat to fit inside the slot in the new heating element. It seemed like one side was too wide (It was definitely bigger than the original on my Kenmore.). I ended up pulling out the old one and using it instead. Not sure exactly what part was needed -- it might have been as simple as just a fuse, but since the parts all came as a bundle, I swapped them all out for new. Seems like a very good value. Now I need to see how long it will last.
