Q: Recently installed the integrated helm control on my boat. required me drilling a 2.5 inch hole. will this unit fit the same hole with screws?

It will be extremely close... A two inch hole would be no problem, because that's what I had. The unit is 3x3 overall and will cover the 2.5" hole no problem. The 4 studs that hold it down have a spread of 2.25" side to side... The diagonal spread is right about 3"... Maybe draw yourself a little template with 4 screw holes 2.5" apart in a square... And see if you can draw a 2.5" hole in between that. The studs are maybe a 8-32nd size ... Pretty small diameter.... If anything you might just have to make a little plate to go on the under side. You can make it work, the 3x3" switch definitely covers that hole... Good luck

This is just the control unit. Made for use with electric tabs

Q: Does this come with nmea2000 or is this the older version?

Sorry, I did not know if it comes with the nmea2000. I bought it in November 2020 as a new version, I don't know if there is a new version for 2021. I sold it to a customer.

No,-this item is only for Electric TrimTabs.The Type for hydraulisch tabs Gas another number!
