Amazon Basics Silver Weatherproof Car Cover - 150D Oxford, Sedans up to 483 cm

1) I was expecting an ill fitting cover based on previous purchases from ebay this cover exceeded expectations , fitted my car well and had well finsihed quality seams and mirror coverings2) The cover is sturdy and well made for the price point and exceeds many other products quality at a similar price elsewhere.3) The cover comes with front middle and back tie connectors to keep it in place which are good quality stay in place during stormy weather and overall keep the cover in situ.4) Whist some rain permeates the cover overall the cover resists heavy downpours well. leaf fall . winds and gusts.5) After 12 months use there are no tears , no straps tearing lose etc6) The silver material is light reflective and protects the cars interior well.7) When my car was stored on the street at night the cover provided an added safety element by reflecting car headlights well.The acid test; Would i buy another Amazon cover ? Absolutely no hesitation

The material and quality are top notch.The only complain I have is, the middle latch is located on the wrong side of the zip open. The latch is attached to the front portion of the zip. Hence the front door cannot be opened until the latch is undone. It defeats the purpose of the zip as a convenient measure.

Bought this for my 2022 sandero stepway to replace one from Lidl which only lasted a Few months ( medium size and too small) this is slightly on the large size but fits much better and is very good quality and should last much longer. I bought some extra long lashing strap to secure it better but haven't needed to use them yet!

I bought this to cover my Dacia Duster as it had been stolen and wrecked. There was a lot of broken glass and I needed to keep the inside of the car dry while trying to work out what to do with the car. The cover was nice and heavy duty. 3 straps to fix under/around the car stopped it from blowing away and very definitely waterproof. It was a bit large for my car but it was the smallest I could buy. All in all very satisfied with the cover and I would recommend buying this one if you need a car cover.

Need winter to come and go to see fully

I had decided to hold back on writing a review for a few months so I could evaluate their performance. The conclusion is that these covers are very good value for money. Not totally waterproof but good enough to provide a decent amount of protection. In fact, I now own three of them. I just wish that Amazon would get them made for hatchbacks.

Just put it on my 26 year old MGF soft top, bought the small size almost a perfect fit, mirror pockets could be a bit further back and slightly smaller. My only gripe is that it has an opening zip on the passenger side, not sure if this was clear in the ad I would prefer the cover not to have this and be a bit cheaper ( manufacturer note) it’s a fairly useless opening and I suspect will let water in through the zip, that apart it seems well made and should do the job. Until now I have used a breathable cover which this is not so waiting to check if this will be an issue.Update to above review in recent heavy rain Nov 22 cover definitely not waterproof! Not sure if it gets through stitching or zip, any way water inside my soft top car through leaky hood so not very happy with cover!

Very good cover except that water seem to permeate into the windshield.

We had snowfall and the cover is proticting my car from sow, Ice and UV sunlight. The fabric does not allow the snow to penetrate and tje snow can be shakeoff easily.

With me living in Texas, the weather is always all over the place. One day it’ll be sunny and the next day will pouring like crazy. This past week has been nothing but non stop rain and with my 300ZX having leaking t-tops, water will usually get in leaving the carpet wet. I usually cover it with a tarp but it’s always a pain in the butt to strap it to the vehicle. Not only that but it also scratches the paint! So I opted to try this item out.Unfortunately they did not have an option for a Coupe but the Sedan 180” fit perfectly fine other than being unable to fit the mirrors into the “pockets” of the car cover. Had to fold the mirrors but that’s not a problem for me. The fit was spot on and what I did like where the straps that it comes with. I did not use the strap in the middle since it’ll be hard to reach under my vehicle as I’m lowered but the front and rear straps worked perfectly fine. The cover is nice and secured and I won’t have to worry about the wind taking the cover off.Overall a great cover. It has been able to keep my car dry without having to worry about water seeping into my vehicle. It’s nice and soft and I won’t have to worry about it potentially scratching my vehicle.
