Men's Superior 2.0 Down Jacket

I’m also of the opinion that this jacket does not appear to be authentic. The down was very loose feeling and did not feel full. The listing says 100% nylon, while the actual product says 100% polyester. I would buy direct from Eddie Bauer. I have a North Face parka that is night and day warmth compared to this jacket.

There are two minor design flaws with this coat. The Velcro on the cuff closure tabs does not extend all the way to the end of the tab. This leaves about 1" of tab sticking out. It's fixable with some extra Velcro. Secondly, there is no waist cinch, only a cinch at the bottom hem. Again, fixable. Otherwise, this coat is very thickly insulated and warm. I've worn it in 0°F temps and was almost too warm. Fit is perfect with room for a couple of layers beneath, but not too loose worn alone. The hood is as insulated as the coat. The hood is not detachable, but the fur rim is. And, I can attest that the coat is, indeed, waterproof. Well worth the 3 bills I spent.

Very warm, thick coat with nice amenities. More stream-lined than a bulky “Puffer” coat . Especially good for shorter people with a thicker torso area. My husband likes it.

Love this coat, keeps me very warm, great quality material. This is the best coat I've ever owned. Glad I purchased it.

I'm 180cm 80kg and I bought large tall, fit as expected. Good enough for weather in NY, but probably not for further north.
