I have extremely sensitive skin and tons of allergies, but did not react badly to this Astroglide gel which is saying a lot. That doesn't mean no one will have a bad reaction, but I have tried numerous personal lubricants and this is the first one that didn't give me a rash.I also appreciate that the gel is not messy. It doesn't drip and stays where you put it. Great for using with a vibrator.My only complaint is that it dries up quickly, so you have to keep re-applying it. Not the worst problem to have, but it does get annoying when you're in the middle of something.

This is a good alternative to their original water based lube. Their original lube gives me an itch so I stopped using it. The only thing with this one is that it doesn't last very long. I have to keep reapplying it because it evaporates quickly so it's not worth the cost.

When you order this you get what may be the new version in the blue tube with the purple cap. It has a new ingredient, sodium benzoate, which I was trying to avoid by ordering the old version. I don't think that chemical belongs in something applied to sensitive areas. I avoid it in food, why would I want it in lube? I'd like to meet their "dermatologist" that says "here, put sodium benzoate in your ****".
