Finally available, does exactly what it says it will
+#1 - it works. Charged my phone from 66% to 100% in about 15 minutes using the 2.1A socket. The 4 Ah battery still showed 3 bars afterwards - no idea about the conversion efficiency; it did get a bit warm on one side, but nothing to worry about in UK climates+#2 - it's small. About the same size as the hack versions you might have seen on the internet so it will store anywhere+#3 - held upside-down with the charger as a grip, it could be the beginnings of a great fancy-dress 'laser gun' using the USB as power for the effects-#1 - there is no indicator light. It auto powers off after 8 hours, according to the manual (not tested for this review), or when you push the button on top a second time, but you need to check your device to see if it's on and there's no way to tell if it's on if nothing is attached-#2 - it's a wee bit expensive for a voltage regulator module, a few other electronic parts and a plastic case (however well colour-matched to the range)Overall:As a sailor and very occasional camper (and bit of a teccy nerd) I've been waiting for this product for a long time now. It's been available in other countries for ages (Ryobi, take note; you should have all your range available in all countries) but the import costs made it unjustifiable. Now I can charge up a 5 Ah battery knowing it will do a mobile phone at sea for a couple of weeks or do a camping weekend while running a fan (on low) or LED lantern and I don't have to worry about phone battery life for streaming, Kindle app or anything else. If I'm feeling generous, I might even donate a bit of power to other people in the group...

It's alive.
As with ryobi good quality but can be a bit lacking. My main grumble is a lack of a light to indicate it is on. Once I got over this point it is good 1 amp and 2.1 amp. Charged my phone and kept the USB light running for hours off my usa 6ah battery. When compared to the dewalt USB charger delivered the same charging proformance but with the added bonus of the light. Cost is the same. So it will depend on your tool type and battery. Unless you start in on the battery adapters.

Useful
Useful for recharging my iPhone while cruising my dinghy. It removed the question of whether or not to get a PowerBank. The Ryobi batteries aren’t really up to recharging an iPad.It has an on/off switch with no indicator light! The only way you know whether it’s on or off is to see your ‘phone light up (or not) when you plug it in.

It's 'OK' but not 'GRRRrate'
Over priced normally for what it is so pick one up when there on offer!Positives:It does the job and fairly quickly for 1 device.Uses the batteries you already have.Negatives:Button on top is not an on/off switch, it's just used to start charging 'if' it doesn't start charging automatically. There's no indicator light/led to know if it's putting out a charge or not to your devices. You have to rely on the device your charging to display if it's charging or not. (Not always the case with some cheap Bluetooth speakers etc).Over priced due to its downfalls.

Solid, reliable, and feunctional
It works well, quickly and reliably charging at 2.1 and 1A. very useful if working remotely with the One+ system for phone/bluetooth speaker etc. More expensive than a traditional powerbank, especially given you must own a battery, however the colourful, large, and rugged construction makes the investment worthwhile for work outdoors/in a workshop.
