Cost effective alternative to purchasing a new mixer
Our Vitamix 5200 developed a high-pitch squeal after about 18 years of daily use. A quick search online indicated it was probably the blade assembly that needed replacement. This product works exactly as described. It took about 5 minutes (maybe less) to disassemble the blade assembly and drive socket of the mixer and install the new ones. The fit was perfect and it works like a brand new machine. I cannot attest to long-term durability of the parts, as we just installed them. But, they seem quality-made and look exactly like the original parts. It saved us from having to spend $600 on a new blender.

This did the job
My wife ruined the original blade, the top fell in and she kept on blending lol, oh well , I thought it was the end of the blender… but I bought this and it worked…. Nice!!! It did the job and works well, just like new

Was able to upgrade my cutting head with no problem.
I bought this upgrade for my 2 speed drink machine even though the model wasn't listed. Everything worked, but the spacer at the bottom is supposed to have a lock screw to keep it from coming off. The spacer set too high on the spindle for the screw to lock as it had a taper less than it the old one. I know that could be fixed with 2 minutes on the bench grinder but I just instructed family not to turn it on machine without the mix contained mounted on it. Even with this I would recommend as it restored my 2 speed drink machine to it Vitamix quality.

bearing only lasted a month with minimal use
Not real happy with this product. I installed this back on June 7, 2023. I have maybe used it 15 times and the bearing is already going bad. It smells while blending, when you spin the blade by hand it is not smooth, it already starting to stick a bit. this is very low quality, get a different one or the real thing. the only good thing was the wrench that came with it.

Failed at 8 month mark
Failed with fairly light use, I think I used it less than once per week and it ended up leaking the grease inside down into the base then seized.
