I have been buying from PWR+ for almost 4 years now.They are my go to when I need a certain laptop charger cable or even battery packs. All of the chargers that I have purchased from them are still working as intended and I have never had anything fail.I used to refurbish laptops for fun, but the one thing that's always missing was the proper battery charger, which they have always had and they work flawlessly.This charger that I am reviewing was a replacement to one that I lost for my tablet. (Nvidia K1)It works great and chargers fast, even used it on my phone and for some reason.. maybe the voltage, it seemed to charge really fast.I have never had anything fail so I can't really give a good review on their customer service.The only thing I can say about these chargers is the blue light on the chargers is really bright! But it's not worth taking a star away from. Black electrical tape masks it just fine. Howrever I do like an indication light. Maybe if they just toned it down a bit :)I can't comment on their customer support, as I have had no reason to contact them... which is a good thing IMO.

I've had this for about three years now and it has been a fantastic charger! Just this morning it appears to have died for no reason. For $13 I definitely got a lot of use out of it, using it for my Nvidia Shield tablet and my Galaxy phone, so I guess I can't really complain. I'm just disappointed it died all the sudden after working fine the night before. That said I'm definitely buying another, which I hope last just as long if not longer.

I've had the Shield Tablet K1 for a while now. The battery is long past the point of being a "normal" battery anymore. If I attempt to use the tablet on battery it lasts maybe 2 hours, if that, depending on what I'm doing.Those of us that have owned this tablet have found the charging, well, crappy. Its a crapshoot whether the charger you have will kick into high amperage draw to charge rapidly, so usually it'll take upwards of 4-6 hours to charge the tablet for 2-3 hours of usage (often had to keep it plugged in only for the amperage draw charger not to keep up with demand of the power usage).This is the only charger I've found so far that's kept up with the power draw of the tablet. Yes I have to keep it plugged in while I use it, but I accept that knowing its an old tablet with an old battery, and when I'm gaming on my tablet I accept it anyway.Pros:Rapid charges Shield Tablet K1Micro USB plug fits nicelyKeeps up with Power Demand of Shield Tablet K1 so I can play while plugged inCons:Minor Quibble - cord is permanently attached to transformer. Its only minor because I have more than enough micro usb cables.Another quibble - my wife is a light sleeper and she complains about the really really bright blue light on the brick.

When I purchased this SHEILD tablet, it came with no charger. Initially a standard charger would work. But as I got into more intense graphic games, it would lose it's charge while playing and plugged in at the same time. If I have it plugged it and am playing intense games, it always stays at 100% charged level. It saved me from throwing a tablet away. Highly highly recommend!!!UPDATE: I have lowered my rating to 1 star because the USB end of the cable broke. Because of the design, I can't just use another or replace the USB cable. Just 2 weeks of use and now it's trash. It worked great initially but 2 weeks is subpar. No email to contact supplier. I'll look elsewhere. Not sending back to Amazon because it's not their fault.

I needed a plug for my new NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1 since it no longer comes with one. I wanted one that had decent power not only to charge the tablet while on and all my other devices. This has worked beautifully. If there's any downside, it's the fact the plug is permanently attached to the cord. That doesn't limit is usefulness for me but it's worth noting. It also has a longer cord than any included with my devices. Overall, it's a great buy.

Over the past two years, since I got my NVIDIA Shield Tablet, I've been buying this charger. Before, I couldn't use my tablet while it was charging or it would lose charge. With this charger, however, it would charge during use. It would charge faster without use. It even charges my phone faster than other chargers. So, it does that well.However, the charger breaks very easily. I've bought maybe five or six of these over the years and it's always because the plug broke (and I'd have bought more if I didn't keep resigning myself to deal with mediocre performance). One time the cord cover came off near the charger and it sparked at me! Most recently however, I had one that kept falling out of my tablet's charge socket and it'd been months so I decided to buy a new one. After ONE WEEK the charger was already falling out of the socket!! I had one week of it snapping into place and holding on and charging beautifully, and after that it was sliding out just as easily as before. Extremely annoying.I've not dealt with customer support before, which is my own fault since these usually say "two year warranty" on them but I really don't want to have to send one back and have no charger while I wait for a replacement. I just wish these lasted longer. Or at all.

Excellent product. It is the only charger I have found that can charge my Shield K1 while it plays graphic intensive games. The cord is long is that you can actually use it while it is plugged in. The transformer is large, but it is offset so it does not interfere with other outlets.

Worked but time will tell
