Is what it is and does what it does
Stays flat, is durable if you use it properly. Be sure it fits the mandrel of your machine as it will fit on most grinder/polishers but not on a lot of air mud hogs.

Worth it
I've used these for decades. Never quite figured out why they're so expensive, either as a product or vs the competition but in the end the time they save vs repairing the mess other pads leave is worth the price. 5 stars for the product, 3 stars for the price.Used mainly on boat hull's but the 8" grinder with 60 or bigger grit and this pad can remove a hellacious amount of material in a hurry. I find I use it often elsewhere because of that. Avoid catching an edge at all costs. The softer nature of the outside edges is both their advantage (fewer if any swirls) and downfall (easily damaged/torn out there)Highly recommended.

Does the job
Has the right amount of softness/hardness for fairing in a none too curved boat hull, and allows use standard sanding sheets if you buy the glue. However, the glue is much more expensive than it was in the past.
