Sax Stack-a-Rack Drying Rack, Red, Powder Coated, 30 x 21 x 17 Inches - 408117

This is a nice drying rack for my classroom. It has reinforced the middle with wire so it can hold half size or full size construction paper sheets without them falling through. It's lightweight and on wheels, so easy to move. Mine came a little bent on two bars, but I didn't think it was worth trying to exchange. It works perfectly well and since I had to pay out of my pocket (#teacherlife) the price was good too.

This was a purchase for a small preschool program. We have about 30 students total and a small space and needed a way to dry art projects and other items throughout the week. As another reviewer said, its a little tight space between the wires so it is a little difficult for small hands to manipulate to put papers in, however us teachers are able to use it just fine. It was super simple to put together, very attractive and works perfectly. We are very pleased with the purchase and would absolutely purchase it again.

I do not like this drying rack at all. I bought 3 for my preschool, all the teachers find them difficult to use and just don't. If a child paints on paper it is very difficult to fit the paper inbetween wire racks, they are so close together you usually end up tearing the painting. These were a total waste of money, would never buy again.

This is an okay product depending on what you use. There isn't much room for you to put stuff on to dry. You can get ply wood and build a better one yourself for around the same price. An okay product just not what I thought it would be!

It is a wonder of economy. It holds a lot and enables air to cirulate all around drawings. There are small changes to the design I wish for-- another bar for smaller papers or canvases. I've resolved this issue by cutting plastic shelf liner so that smaller works can be supported.Many of my wrapped canvases fit, though not all -- I think the 3/4" depth is problematic, but as I don't have more than two at a time of those wet, I use the top of the cart.The ability to roll is priceless-- when it's wet handmade paper I'm drying, I can roll this to two levels of fans -- one on the floor and one one a pedestal-- this is dreamy!For my fluid acrylics/ acrylic pouring based paintings, I can move it to an area where there is no direct blowing on the surface, but good circulation.I long wanted one of these, but all the other art carts werehundreds of dollars. I'm very grateful for this affordable solution.

Shipping and packaging was great, all pieces were there and it came with no damage. Item came in one piece and seem to be a decent quality... Depends on your purpose.I purchased this item to store canvas paintings. Not all shelves were the same height and some paintings either did not fit or fit way to tight. Likely I also paint on canvas panels and could use those shelves. Otherwise - if you are on a search of storage for canvas paintings - I would not recommend this item, about half of the shelves will be wasted.

Easy to assemble. Works great in my art classroom. It fits lots of art. The wheels don’t lock completely but not a huge problem for me. Wet 8.5x11 is kinda hard for the younger kids to put away nicely

This drying rack doesn't take up much room and is east to assemble. Very reasonable price. Great for drying paper projects, not canvas projects. Shelves are very close to one another. Perfect solution for my classroom. I would consider getting another.
