I was skeptical about how effective this item would be but found it to actually do exactly what it claims. I am 5'9" and 168 lbs with a 40" chest and this fits me well. As you may read in other reviews it can feel a bit snug and perhaps some people find them restrictive but I am not sure how the item could actually slim otherwise. In my case I just needed it to sort of slim down my profile after losing nearly 100 lbs over the last few years. It works great when you need to tuck your shirt into jeans or when wearing clothing that is cut slim or fitted. I would suggest that when you put the tank on that you put it on over your head and arms them simply grab the very bottom seam with both hands, on in front and one in the rear and simply pull it down. To remove the tank just do the opposite and pulling gently on the very bottom with both hands "peel" it upwards and over your head. I did not find this a difficult proposition but I have been wearing athletic compression gear for years and may be more accustomed to putting stretchy, tight fitting clothing on and off than most. I ended up buying several more after buying the first one to try. I did end up sending one back because I found that it had a loose thread on the bottom seam that would eventually allowed the seam to unravel. I didn't have any issues returning the flawed garment for a refund so I didn't penalize the rating due to this.

Does the job and tucks in well. My only meh is the manly man sports bra bunches the breast fat up near the arm pits and it's noticeable depending on the shirt you're wearing over it. This compression shirt is still good though and I'll probably purchase again. No real complaints.

I ordered both the white tank (in XL) and the black tank (in L) versions of this product.I'm 6'0"/205Lbs. The black tank that I ordered (in large) worked excellently at hiding excess fat. It really did a great job at making me look slimmer and hiding my gut and "chest fat". The problem was it was tight enough where I had to actually step into it to get it on (the instructions show this as a recommended way to put it on at first). It also became very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time because it was so tight. I had red marks on my body with the outline of the vest after wearing it all day. Eating while wearing the Large was uncomfortable also because my abdominal area felt very constricted.I decided to go ahead and make an order for the white tank instead and i'm glad I did. I ordered an XL this time and I can easily slip it over me without having to step into it now. The white tank also feels better material wise for some reason. Obviously because its larger it doesn't hide my gut as well as the Large black tank did - but i can easily wear it all day comfortably and it does still make me look slimmer. If you ask me, the white tank looks more like a regular tank then the black tank does as well.I've stopped wearing the black tank now, but i've put the white tank to good use. It seems to be very well made as well. I don't see any issues with the quality. It's also very easy to clean - I hand wash mine and then just hang it to try and its good to go again.My overall opinion is that this is an excellent tank - you may just need to do a little work to find one that fits you comfortably. If you're in the area of 6'0" and 205Lbs like me i'd recommend the XL!

First off, this product fits as the guide says. Its is very comfortable and does what it is meant to do. It feels like a good dry fit undershirt. As someone who was nearly 350lbs and has kept their weight off for almost 10 years, this product is exactly what i have been looking for. I am 6’2” and 220lbs, thick athletic build. I have struggled with how my skin around my midsection hangs, even 10 years after losing all my weight. This is the solution if you have been looking for an alternative to surgery for the extra skin after weight loss. I will be buying more.

These things work. I own several pairs of these that I use to wear at work as a Security Officer. For me, even though the Mediums are pretty tight on me, I love them. It really compresses things in just enough that it smooths out my stomach and the love handles virtually disappear. It really makes my uniform tuck in nicely. Some people seem to have issues breathing in them, but I'm always moving around doing stuff and making my rounds, but I have no problems whatsoever. The only issue I have is that it's a pain trying to get on and off.With prior experience using the Instaslims, they will eventually loosen up a little bit and won't be quite so tight, but they're still very effective. The quality of these things are very good, too. I have yet to have any of my older pairs to tear, rip, stretch, pop a thread, etc. The material isn't cloth-like, so it's not the most comfortable thing in the world -- but I didn't buy it for comfort, I bought it because it does what it's supposed to.
