The strainer is designed to fit and use without being awkward. Lightweight so it’s easy to use with arthritic hands.The prewash of the rice is much easier with the built in stir end. No more wet hands

Game changing
What used to take 5 or 6 washes now only takes like 2 or 3 washes to get the same level of clean. If you eat rice a lot, it's worth the price of admission. Can be a bit clunky in a drawer if you have small drawers.

If you wash rice regularly, you need this.
Who would ever guess such a simple utensil could make such a difference washing rice. What used to take 4 to 5 refills of water to wash rice now takes 2 or 3. Really glad I took a chance and purchased this.
