Accusize Industrial Tools 1" 9 Pieces/Set, Indexable Carbide Turning Tools and Boring Bar, 2988-0001

I have another smaller set of Accusize turning tools for a smaller lathe in my shop, so when I had the opportunity to pick these up for my larger lathe, I jumped at the chance. Accusize gear has always performed really well for me, and these are no exception to that rule. The kit comes in a pretty decent aluminum storage case (which is a nice add, because these arms are not exactly light), and it has everything you’d need, such as insert screws and wrenches. I would have liked to have seen some additional carbide inserts included (I believe I got 2 extras in the kit for my smaller lathe), but I totally understand.These beasts are rock-solid during operation, as well - no chatter, no drifting, no movement at all. It’s just the right tool for the job. I hope this was helpful - if you’ve got a lathe, you seriously can’t go wrong with an Accusize kit.
