Great illustrations and a sweet, age appropriate message about resilience
Wonderful illustrations and a heartwarming story about a day where seemingly everything is going wrong for Yoomi but she still manages to have a good day with her loving family. We love seeing Korean culture and lots of yummy Korean foods represented. My two sons (ages 4 and 6) LOVE this book as well as “No Kimchi for Me” (also by Aram Kim). Highly recommend!

An amazingly fun book!
It was amazing and fun. And it reminded me of my childhood with my family. I was a peaky eater when I was a child like Yummy, who is a main character of the book. But I loved all the foods in this book in my childhood and enjoyed eating them so much. The book shows authentic popular Korean food with fun facts. Also it has information on the end pages like other books of the author. I strongly recommend this book for your kids and other kids who like to experience various foods and culture.

Fun book for kids
A fun book about a Korean cat family. My daughter is in love with Yoomi and want to do everything she does! The illustrations are so fun and full of detail! I think we’ve read it about 100 times since we bought it already. Even my almost 2 yr old brings it over for us to read it to him. Highly recommend!
