For the record: The ad reads 100% cotton if I remember correctly, the product tag reads "With high cotton content." I suspect, this slight deduction concerning the cotton content is (made-in-Germany precision) due to the fact that the bra, although WIRE-free, does contain a small PLASTIC rod, approx. 2" high, 1/4" wide, on each side, which caused me to subject the bra to slight "surgery" -- I removed the two thingies using an Exacto knife with barely any damage to the fabric covering the rods. I am a "little ancient lady" who spends many hours on the computer and don't like wires and the like to poke me, and I need some bra stretch after a few hours of sitting. "Post-surgery", this bra meets my needs and I'll be ordering another one or two.

this is my 4th Amoena mastectomy bra that holds breast forms and non of them fit what a waste of money! This particular Ruth bra was too tight around the band even though it supposedly was a 36 was not! the slits to slid the breast forms in was so small couldn't even fit all my four fingers through the slit at one time! the cups once I really forced my silicone form in it looked dis formed didn't even look like a breast at all! I have very expensive natural looking silicone breast forms! To anybody thinking about this purchase run don't walk you will not be happy at the end of the day with this dud of a bra in life! If I could give this zero stars I would here!

I am very satisfied with this bra. I have been looking for 100% cotton , that alone is hard to find. Also I am 32 DDD and that is hard to find. Your product is exactly as described. Provides great support. I can wear this bra all day. I forget I have it on. Supper comfortable.

This is a tough review. It's the best 100% cotton bra I've bought, but it's not what I want. I have yet to find a 100% cotton bra, or even natural fabric bra, that I like and can afford in my size. I'm a 34DD, which is an extremely difficult size to find in natural fabrics! So I'm thankful that this bra fits and does the job.The good:- It works.- It's comfortable.- It has pockets for padding.- It doesn't break me out like all plastic (polyester, nylon, spandex) bras do.-It's lighter and cooler than synthetic fabric bras.-The support and lift is good despite no underwire.The mediocre / just okay:- It doesn't shape beautifully like a tshirt bra does, but it does shape instead of flatten.- The straps are average, not wide for comfort.The bad:-There is a seam that goes across the center of the breast, and it can be seen through any non-loose fitting shirt. I cannot wear this with some of my shirts unless I have a jacket on.-It doesn't quite look like the photo here. It acts a little like a shelf bra in that the middle, between the cups, sticks out with the cups instead of sitting closer to the skin. This is part if the shaping problem.So if you're like me and are sensitive to what you put on your skin, have a large breast size, and are on a budget, this might be the be the best option for you. It's not bad, but certainly not what I want in a bra.

Ordered 38 A. Band width was good but cup size was more like a B. I fit most A cups so this one is not the normal cup A, too large. Material is soft. It feels a little short on the front and needed to extend the straps the full length so it doesn't ride up. I am returning because even with an inserted bra pad from my sports bra, there's a built in place for that, it is too large for the normal size A. Beware, you must pay the return UPS shipping, deducted from your reimbursement. Because of this I'm not sure if I want to take a chance on the 38AA.

How great to find such a well-made, comfortable but supportive COTTON bra at such a good price! I look forward to wearing it during the hot summer months when synthetic material is just too hot. This is a really well-made item, and no surprise, since it’s manufactured in Germany. What a great surprise to buy something of such good quality that it EXCEEDED my expectations!
