I bought a cup before and LOVED IT! Someone dropped it at work and it shattered. I recently ordered a replacement— poured coffee in it on 1st use— bottom popped out of cup. Sent replacement— did exactly the same thing with added crack down the side. Returned both in same box!

This is a large mug not a standard size great for Saturday morning coffees! We have three of them and love them!

This is my 2nd purchase of this mug because not only is it so nice looking, it is strong, it's dishwasher safe and also microwave safe. It is easy to hold by the handle or fits comfortably in the hands. Also, it holds quite a bit of tea (or coffee, or cocoa!) I have the pink one as well, and it is really beautiful too!

High quality product, several choices, quick & easy order & delivery

I added this mug and the pink version of this mug to my wedding registry, I wanted his and hers coffee mugs. These mugs looked beautiful in the photos and I was so excited when someone bought both of them for us. I have now had THREE defective versions of the blue mug. My pink one works just fine, the blue one on the other hand cracks every time I try to pour hot liquid into it--not boiling liquid, just regular hot coffee or hot tea. I've tried warming up the mug by running it under warm water in the sink before I put a hot liquid into it--as to reduce the temperature difference between the mug and whatever liquid I'm pouring into it-- and have had the same exact result each time. Today, after opening up the third replacement mug, I poured coffee into it and it cracked yet again. I tried to wash the mug to return it, choosing to get the money back instead of a replacement, and as I went to wash it the entire bottom fell off and cut my hand in four spots--even took out a tiny chunk of skin on my thumb. I made sure to use light pressure, barely brushing the sponge on the surface of the mug, and yet it still completely came apart.Again, the pink version I have of this mug which looks like the exact same mug by all accounts except for the color-- has never had this issue, not even once. I love that mug. The blue version however, which is supposed to be my husband's, has always cracked and broken. The pink version must be made with a slightly different material or a different process-- how else would you explain this issue? THREE broken blue mugs in a row? That is not coincidental, that is the distribution of defective merchandise. What use is a mug if you can't put coffee into it?While Amazon has done a great job of providing replacements, or refunds, and making the process of a return easy-- I would not recommend purchasing this mug. I now have a hurt hand, a completely broken mug, and saddened spirit. I just wanted cute matching mugs for my husband and I :(EDIT: After speaking to a ceramics specialist, I am told this issue is likely due to an insufficient amount of glaze being used on the mug. With so little glaze, the hot liquid causes the internal ceramic layers to expand and crack or break. This makes sense, as the pink mug I have is perfectly functional and would be manufactured separately due to it being a different color. Whether or not this lack of glaze is to save money on production, or is an honest mistake, makes no difference--it is irresponsible. Are these mugs not undergoing any quality checks? I cannot be the only person who has had this issue, please save your hand, and your money-- DO NOT BUY THIS MUG.

We love these mugs! We have purchased 5 so far and will be buying more. The shape is easy to hold and the handle is very sturdy if the cup gets too hot. One of our mugs started to tink when I poured in coffee and a few days later it started to leak! I started the return process which was very easy and had a replacement very quickly! We use these mugs every day and they are absolutely beautiful! Thank you Bosmarlin!
