Great resource...
I am a primary school teacher, so I have ordered this for my child and for my class.Pros: Sensory basis for maths - perfect! The images are so engaging, and can be used standalone, in the car for example.Cons: How to store this without the current bulky packaging? I don't want it to dry out!

Neat and clean
This learning while having fun pack. The set include 8 different colours playfoam bricks and 13 double side letter cards. The Playfoam never dries out. Its squishy, sculpting and shaping. Just use it on top of the letter cards to to shape it and learn from it.Kids can use Playfoam to come-up with any other style as well. Its all depends on the imagination of the kid

Great fun and good for the fingers!
This playfoam is a terrific toy for developing finger strength and fine motor skills. It’s soft but tough. And your child has to really work their fingers to mound the foam into the shapes shown on the cards. I found the cards were really motivating for the children in my Reception class. They were very keen to try to fit the foam to the images. It also meant they didn’t mix up all the colours straight away.

Good idea but some practical problems
For £13 you get a set of sturdy colourful number cards/pictures and a plastic insert with 8 blocks of playfoam in pastel colours. The idea is that you use the foam to mould into the shape of the numeral on the card and /or copy the shape of objects on the card eg 6 raindrops falling from a cloud. The cards have different pictures front and back with numerals up to 10, and there are bonus extension cards such as a number line of dominoes, plus and minus sums to complete. A nice idea in principle for counting and for moulding shapes. However, having tried it out with our grandson (neraly 4) who loves numbers, we encountered a few drawbacks. The playfoam, which has the consistency of marshmallows, comes in attractive colours but within a few goes they were all be mixed together and you cannot then separate them. The cards very much suggest you should keep the colours separate eg one shows a rainbow. It smells rather chemically, though this might wear off. It was hard to get the colourfoam blocks out of their plastic container, and we have ended up storing the cards and the mixed up foam in a resealable bag for future use.The foam is quite easy to clear up but can get stuck on hair and clothing. It looks a bit like bobbly sweeties so do make sure children who still put things in their mouths do not get hold of it. It is a good texture for moulding solid shapes like a blob for the raindrops, but very hard to get the curved shapes required to copy most numerals. As a result it was not played with here for very long.

Fun and educational
My kids love anything squishy that can be manipulated so this kit was amazing, its educational and great quality. The foam never dries out unlike other materials used for the same purpose such as playdough. The games are fun and this has really helped my son develop his fine motor skills as he has to manipulate the foam into different shapes!

GREAT LEARNING AND FUN ACTIVITY
A superb learning tool for youngsters to get to grips with ahead of starting-up at school. The set with 13 double-sided letters for the youngsters to learn to shape and rememberletters, the youngsters learn by filling in the letter-shapes with the foam. The foam is very sticky but can easily be cleaned-up after use, advisable to use a hardsurface when doing the activity. My 4 year-old (pre-school)and 5 year-old (started school last September) are loving theactivity and will no doubt continue using for some time to come.Really good, and at £13 (currently on-site) is for those pre-school value-for-money

Keeps little ones occupied
The pack comes with a selection of colour form balls and a card with a letter of the alphabet on each card for little ones to shape the balls into.It keeps them occupied for a good while but the balls do end up going everywhere! So a good one if you don't mind the mess.

Makes learning letters fun!
We got this play foam shape and learn kit for my 4 year old daughter. We do preschool at home so we are always looking for ways to make learning fun and this was perfect for us!It is such a great product, everything just as described on the packaging. I really like that the cards are colorful, bright and large - it makes it easy for my little one to manipulate the play foam to the shape of the letters. Also, the quality of the cards is so good!! They are nice and sturdy .. they really hold the play foam really well! These are made to last!Oh and one other plus.. I REALLY appreciate that the play foam comes in a little separator thing because it makes it so easy to store when we are done playing with it!

Imparare a scrivere giocando
