Interstellar Soundtrack Expanded Edition

What else is there to say....this is Hans Zimmer's crowning achievement. It is grand and epic and the ONLY music that could accompany such a revelatory film. Excellent.

What can I say. The best soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. I collect soundtracks and its in my top 10. The assembly of music in this special edition is outstanding. Helps to have a great sound system.

After watching the movie 2 times, finally watched the special features and was immediately impressed at the extent to which was done in order to accomplish the awing support of the movie.

Item was in great condition. Plays seamlessly with no skips!

My copy did not have any of the noise or pops described by others. It plays like quality 180 vinyl, super clarity and a depth of soundscape far superior to a CD with the right phono cartridge, preamp, and amp. It is a better pressing than the clear vinyl limited edition. Very happy to have this vinyl in my collection.

I bought this a few months ago and I didn’t write a review until now. It’s a long story so let’s begin:My dad ordered this for me for Christmas but yet it never arrived. Amazon cancelled the order and then the price on Amazon went from $70 to $400. I was going to order it myself until I saw the new price. Eventually the price dropped back down to $70 and so I ordered it. I ordered it mid January and it said it would arrive mid February. It didn’t get shipped until a week before it arrived and I know it didn’t because that’s when I was charged and that’s when I got a tracking number. It didn’t say it was back-ordered or anything, just that it would arrive mid February. And when it arrived and I played it, it sounded horrible. It sounded muffled. Other vinyl I’ve gotten before that is a new album have also sounded muffled and that’s because they don’t properly convert the audio to a vinyl format. So this album has left a bad taste in my mouth for vinyl now and from now on I will never buy a modern album. They’re overpriced, terrible audio quality, and terrible build quality too. That’s one thing I didn’t mention: the build quality on modern vinyl seems to be worse. I don’t know how to describe it.The only reason this isn’t getting a 1 star is because it’s the soundtrack to my favorite movie of all time.
