Parker Genuine Leather Razor Protective Travel Case

Fits my razor perfectly and keeps it protected

I bought these to keep my Gillette Fatboys (1958, 1960) safe, I like how it's made to protect the razor. One year later they still hold up great and I plan to get 2 more for another set of vintage Gillete razors (1959 Super Speed, Fatboy 1961).

Great idea, not a bad design but cheap leather. Thin leather. Somewhat difficult to put safety razor in. Most razors I suspect fit but most may cut right into the leather once closed like it do mine on first use.

This does appear to be made of leather, but it is coated in some sort of flexible plastic that smells bad. Also, it looks like the coating wasn't dry when the flap was tucked in and pulling it out tore a tiny bit of the finish off. It is rather large on my Edwin Jagger DE89 razor (length wise) and seems like it could be a slosh wider at the razor end, but it was inexpensive and it will serve my purposes if it holds up to occasional travel. It looks like there would be room to put a 5 pack of blades in there, too.

A very nice product and well made with nice stitching. I have no doubt this razor travel case would accommodate any size razor. If you will notice how its made the strap on the front lets you adjust the strap to a longer or shorter length if needed.

I use this for my Muhle R89 when I travel. It works great and protects the razor very well, as well as protecting the other items in my dopp kit from the razor. My only complaint is that I couldn't get it in black.

It fitted my fatter handle safety razor and it does the job which is why I gave it 2 stars, but the build quality & control is definitely lacking. The flap as not one but two chips on it (attached photo) for a brand new product definitely an eyesore. The leather feels more like plastic than leather.What’s worst was that I tried to return it only to find out it wasn’t eligible for return....Fortunately it was a Prime item and Amazon was able to solve the problem.
