No. This set is more for a 5-8 year old. It's smaller than a standard size set, which is probably what you're aiming for at 13.

I think they are...but they have certainly taken a beating. Really cool little set.

my kid is 8 years old and this set works fine. I think it should be fine for a 12-year old. Also a great size for a starter set.

The left bottom drum head is:10 inches The top left drum head is:8 1/2 inches Top right drum head is: 10 1/2 inches Right floor drum head is: 12 1/2 inches Bass head is: 15 inches I’ve seen this question posted several times. I hope this helps. My grandchildren love this set.
