hard to find adapter
I was looking for a PCIe edge card to occulink adapter, and this did the job. It would have been nice if they also made one where the port was on the outside of the card so I didn't need to loop the cable back and out of the system for the application I was using this for. Great to find this on Amazon, even though it was a bit expensive for what it is.

High speed single-device card for NVMe drives or other PCIe connections
I got an Intel u.2 PCIe drive a while back, and while I've used it on a x4 PCIe carrier card (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YKQ2C93), I have some machines that don't support full height cards, so I can't use this adapter in them. With this OCuLink card and a PCIe SSD cable, I can mount the drive in a standard 2.5 or 3.5" bay and use a low profile bracket on this card to drive the higher performance NVMe drive in a SFF/USFF PC.For this purpose, it meets my needs, although seeing some of the other options for OCuLink (like 8-lane cards and slot adapters), this may be a slippery slope or at least some new things to add to my Christmas list. For now, this will get my high perf storage going in a very small form factor, and I'm happy with the purchase.
