Wire Cable Curtain Rod System with Clips

I needed a rod that would not stick out from my window trim and these were PERFECT! I really love the look of them in my kitchen and the company was excellent in answering my questions!

The only thing to add is for directions, put screw into wall first then attach housing base instead of trying to put screw into wall through hole in base. Makes it so much easier.

I thought this would save me having to use curtain rods, but it’s just not heavy duty enough. Doesn’t keep tension, like in the advertised photo, as you can see in the photo I attached, it droops. As for installation, it did come with the screw needed to mount hardware. I would pre drill the hole, it was pretty simple to install, but you do need a drill, & wire cutters. I ended up stripping the Phillips screw, I just used another screw I had & it still worked fine. I probably won’t be buying anymore of these. Cute for displaying photos, def not made to hold any kind of weight. After about 5 mins of it being up, the cord came out, frayed. Major thumbs down. Also this came with absolutely no instructions, not even instructions in the product ad.

They seem fine. I ordered 2 and they were very different. One had much finer threading, not sure if that will be positive or negative.

Instructions seem IKEA-ish and easy except for 1 thing; there are no wall screws included. No problem because who doesn’t have extra wall screws laying around? Wouldn’t be a big deal except that the diameter of the screw head needs to be less than your average drywall screw. LESS THAN -not equal. Finally found 2 decorative head screws that would work. Almost had to make a special trip to the hardware store store just for mounting wall screws. Why aren’t these included?Now that it’s mounted, I’m happy with it. Looks as advertised & seems pretty sturdy.

We ordered a second one of these,but the second one arrived damaged. It looked like someone had really worked on it with some vice grips or pliers. Turns out one of the screws unscrews the opposite way,but there's no indication of this in the directions and someone went to town on it trying to unscrew it the "wrong" direction. Unfortunately we already had the first half of it installed and now we're stuck with a janky looking piece on one end.
