I ended up buying about 12 of these to cover my home gym floor. A bit pricey for everything but the final product look and protection is worth it. The tiles interlock well with the plastic locks and do not separate. None of the tiles I ordered has any 'smell' so that should not be a concern. These tiles are really think but hard do do not think you will be walking on marshmallows. If your gym is primarily free weights this is huge value add and recommend them.

These are very durable. If you need to trim these at all you're gonna need a circular saw and a blade you don't mind destroying.

Takes a few minutes to install, extra durable and high quality. Can be expensive to do a big area, but its worth the extra money

I was very excited to receive these tiles. Although expensive, they seemed durable, so this was the second set I ordered. One of the tiles is completely disintegrating in the corner. Very disappointing. I contacted Amazon, and there is no option to return just the one defective tile or to have them send just one replacement tile, which would be the best and most convenient answer. My only recourse is to return all four tiles, which is a very heavy package, and order a replacement, risking another defective tile in the set. I wish they had a better policy.
