I've bought a few of these for Christmas gifts. I also have a few kate spade necklaces, one did tarnish after a few months due to be stored with other necklaces, just keep it stored in the bag provided.

This pendant completely tarnished and changed color in less than 3 months. Do not buy, it is a waste of money.

The necklace is as my wife described it "dainty" which is the style she likes. The quality is like all Kate Spade jewelry. The clasp is a little "bigger" in comparison to the pendant, but it appears that it would be good for lasting long. There are several notches to clasp onto for length so the necklace but be longer for ladies/women or smaller for little girls. Highly recommend!!!
