Perfect for what I needed
After having a stroke, the pole is perfect to help me with my balance when learning to walk again. When assembling it for the 1st time. The instructions aren't clear. You have to pull one of the sections till it locks. This is quite far past the image of the padlock. This took me some time to work out.

Almost Useless
I put the 3 parts together as instructed. Put the bottom to the floor and the 2 lower parts fell off. They don’t screw in, they are so loose it’s unbelievable. The top clip loosens itself within minutes. Unfortunately I was so desperate for a stick to go out with (recovering from a broken ankle) that I had no choice but to glue the 3 parts together then apply duck tape around the joins to hold them together. Therefore I can’t fold it and place in the bag. I would never have bought this if I’d known what a load of rubbish it is. Instructions don’t bear any resemblance to the product either. Don’t waste your money.

Brillant!
My husband is recovery from ACL injury, 5 months in recovery and we are going to Iceland. I brought as I thought it would help when we were hiking. My husband found it worked and supported him much better then his walking stick, if there was a slippy surface it didn't slip, he's actually using it now rather then his walking stick!Quality of the stick is very good, it's very well made. 100% recommended!

Useful walking pole
I bought this pole after reading the reviews which I found useful when I received the pole. The instructions are difficult to read and it took me a while to locate the button that stops the pole from collapsing. However once I understood how to assemble the pole every was fine. Very easy to adjust the height. I have only given 4 stars because on my first walk one of the tips came off and was lost within a short time of starting the walk. I replaced this with the mud tip and this too came off within a few minutes and was lost. I now need to purchase replacement tips and have only used the pole once.

how to assemble using chinese instructions
The assembly instructions were in tiny print and almost unreadable' Used a magnifying glass. Sections 2 and 3 are telescoped inside the handle (1). Pull out section 2 and the pull out section 3. There is a silvery ring between the two sections. Pull section 3 really hard (very hard) and a silvery metallic button will pop out of the stick and the stick will be rigid and usable at last. Adjust the stick for length. It took me 30 minutes to work this out due to the very poor translation from the chinese language. and the size of the printed instructions.. The stick now looks ok and usable. Presumably reverse the operation to close the stick and fold it up.

Keeps me upright.
Folds into 3, so it's useful for storing under seats etc. Works a treat, it's the second one I have owned.

That its rubbish. I want my money back.
Rubbish. Put it together and clasp does not hold sections of pole together. It dangles apart so is useless. I realise I've had it for a while but it was bought as a gift and because of covid restrictions was unable to travel to my friend's home in a different location to me to give it to her. I'm 80 so thought it was me that couldn't sort it but my much younger neighbour couldn't either. Complete waste of money and I'm on a OAP pension.
