Delicious Coffee
The coffee is delicious. It took a few times to tweak the process to get the process and the coffee perfect. It's important to read the instructions, unless you have experience with this type of pot.-Make sure the water is below the tiny hole (as mentioned in the instructions)-Do not pack the coffee in the basket, because the water will not filter down properly. Fill it, but fluff the grounds (I actually use the end of a corn on the cob skewer).-After the water boils (about 4 min.), take the pot off the stove and flip it in the sink, in case any water squirts out from the tiny hole.-The full dripping process takes about 5 minutes. I keep the pot on a warm burner during the dripping process.

Worth every penny
This little coffee maker is old school but with modern quality. I needed something for just me, since some days my wife and I feels like having two different coffees. This is fast to make, easy to clean and pretty much hassle free.

It's interesting and small
I chose it because I'm looking for nice dark, thick coffee, and I like old world stuff. If I pull up the basket and let the top of the water settle down and sit in the grinds it turns out to be a tasty brew. I will still get a stove top "espresso" maker. But it's nice for a change. Although I wish I could afford a bigger one( they tend to be very pricy). But this is good for one person as long as you let it steep a couple of minutes. The finish is good and it can hold up to high heat. Don't let it over boil...just as the steam starts coming out the hole or the spout take it off the stove and flip it over and let it sit. It was hit and miss until I figured out that the water at the top wasn't saturated with the grinds. Keep the grind fine. Lightly pack it if at all. Too tight and I think the water has a hard time to filter through.

Dad's favorite!
It was so difficult replacing my Dad's Neapolitan coffee pot, and he is very resistant to change. Although these are not the handles he was accustomed to, he soon adjusted. He loves the coffee made in this pot and says it is so much stronger than in his old pot. I'm so glad it all worked out and he's happy once more.

Vintage meets beautiful new!
This is a sturdy pretty pot. Makes a delish and old school expresso. Growing up had these kinds of pots from my Italian family - but now are vintage. So happy with this purchase. Note it’s small, but that is what I wanted! Very good find here on amazon. I may buy another one as these pots are hard to find!

Use every morning.
I love this espresso brewer. After my espresso machine died I bought the Ilsa. I microwave then froth my milk, and add espresso. The perfect latte. Check out the YouTube instruction.

Flawed design
When you turn over the pot, the inner container (containing the grounds) should, of course, stop at a certain point, so that the water can drip through and coffee can come out the other side. This inner container simply falls right to the bottom. Either my particular one was flawed, or had some wrong parts, or this machine simply doesn't work.
