These are exactly what I needed. I had to adjust them a bit but that is completely normal and took very little time. Nice quality for the price!

If give these 5 stars if they were always at their discount price. Normally slightly it of my price range.

Tongs worked as they should. Moves freely but not too loose. Holds fine & description is accurate.

for what they are, I feel like they're way overpriced. Decent enough quality though... Handles are a bit short, so if you get dragon's breath from your forge you'll likely need some good welding/fireplace gloves.

The tongs came in today and they were packaged very poorly and covered in rust. They will be useful after I clean the rust and coat them with bees wax to protect them. I will also have to make several adjustments to them to make sure they will hold the stock I am working with.

First off, my package came completley opened. I was really concerned as I picked up the box and my tongs just slid out of one end. Fortunately all three were still inside, so no harm done. Highly recommend checking with the carrier about how they transport and store packages (didn't see who delivered).Other than that, these are working well. No rust or pitting as mentioned in other reviews. They were covered in a sort of paint that burned off pretty quickly in the forge releasing a nasty odor so I recommend burning this stuff off outdoors prior to using inside.They were okay on comfort and held my steel just fine without any issues. This may change with time, so I'll update in a few weeks. As for weight they're definitely an improvement over iron tongs which are just under twice as heavy.Given the price I expected a little more out of these. They're small, limited in scope, and only just met my expectations. I personally think you'll be better off spending the $50 each to buy tongs in the long run. As for beginners like me, they'll get you started okay.

I probably wouldn’t buy them again. They are fine, but I would have found some different styles. If you are working with bar stock these will be good. If you are working with odd shaped steel then you may want something different. None of these are great for railroad spikes or rebar. They get the job done and seem well made and were a good value. Just personally I would make a different selection if I were buying them again.
