The Action Bible Collector's Edition: God's Redemptive Story

This hardcover edition of this illustrated Bible is great! I purchased it for my 8-year-old son for Christmas, this year, and he really loves it. He has read (and listened) to Bible stories his whole life, but these comic-style illustrated stories make the book come alive to him in a fresh, new way. He reads this book because he wants to, not because my wife or I ask him to, and I'm sure that is what the creative team on the book was hoping for when they undertook to make it. After he finishes reading a story in the book, he comes and recounts, to us, what he has read, and that just puts a smile on my face. I would highly recommend this book for all children ages 6-10!

This is a newer comic book style Bible. My husband accredits the older version with how he fell in love with the Word of God. My son got his for his birthday mid-Oct & has already finished & has begun to reread it! It is changing him & helping to bring to life in this very visual time in our history the history & Truth of the God we know & love! We bought another for a neighbor boy & will purchase more!

Bought this for my my son and his church friend. The book is amazing! Large with a gorgeous cover, amazingly illustrated glossy pages throughout, and let's not even talk about the artistry. The artist who drew these comics is beyond belief. I can't imagine how long it took to complete. My son loves this book and we read it to him every night, per his request.

If you have the whole Action Bible, this story is already included in it. This would be a cute little "magazine" to gift at Christmas time to someone who doesn't already have the full book.

The problem with my order is the listing was for hardcover, but these are pamphlet format copies of the book. I don't know if this is a problem of wrong listing description, or wrong item sent.The story is fine, it's a colorful retelling of the birth of Jesus.

My 11 year old has learning disabilities which make reading difficult. This book is prefect for him! Straight from the bible with beautiful comic format. It's a Christmas gift, so he hasn't gotten it yet, but I'm having a hard time putting it down. Lol

We bought both the book and audio version. My kids ages 5 and 8 love reading this book and listening to it through Alexa.
