My old laptop which still work great wasn't keeping a charge anymore and after opening it, and getting the information, I needed this battery. I replaced it myself. I have never replaced a laptop battery before, let alone open a laptop. One key didn't work after replacing it but it wasn't the battery itself, it was just the way I put the laptop back together. I have used this battery for one year now and have no issues. It's like it's a brand new laptop

Battery plugged in and 0% battery life. Too late to return to Amazon. Can't find how to contact seller. Beware this company.Addendum : I found out that battery needed calibration and I wish that seller had given instructions. My bad and the battery appears to be working well and I apologize to seller about bad review. Updated to a 4 star only because they didn't give instructions on how to drain battery all the way in a HP and calibrate.

I purchased the battery; it arrived at 65% charge. The instruction mentioned to drain the batter until 2% and then give it a full charge. At around 30% the battery dropped died.Amazon quickly sent a replacement; and guess what?It arrived at 52% this afternoon, and it dropped dead at around 35%.I've charged it completely, and it drains at about 2% per minute.Crap, is crap, is crap.This battery is crap.

I bought this battery over a year ago and since then it's been working really well. No issues what so ever. It's reasonably priced as well.

Pretty straight forward product. It came, it got charged, and it got used. The laptop was able to stay on 4+ hours in real time use, so it's pretty good for what it is.Unknown what the longevity will be on it, but if we get 1 year on it, and have to buy another, it's good enough i suppose.
