I got this for a gag gift for a friend and he could actually blow it. My only complaint was--NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED ON HOW TO PLAY. So how are the children that this was made for suppose to learn how to play? Over all-I was satisfied.

Didn’t bother to replace it, as multiple people had their mouths on it to try to get it to work. very cute, felt well made, but wasn’t put together correctly and so never worked.

It works great for my 7 year old trying to learn.

My son was so excited to open this Christmas morning, only to discover that there WERE NO REEDS, so it didn't produce any sound. The instructions were also missing.UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement, which had reeds but no instructions.THESE ARE NOT ACTUAL BAGPIPES. The drones are non functional, just solid sticks of wood for looks. It is extremely high pitched. Only the blowstick and chanter are functional, and the sound doesn't resemble actual bagpipes any more than a plastic trumpet resembles the real thing.THIS IS A TOY, NOT A CHILD SIZE INSTRUMENT.

This is a cheap piece of garbage. They do not work even after watching videos on how to put it together. Returning it. I also gave one as a gift and it was very embarrassing when they also could not make this work.

These bagpipes are an excellent replica of adult-sized fun! They were completely functional with very little effort to play! Although ypu should not expecr professional quality of sound, the humor in bleeting away was well worth the purchase! Great for children, halloween ensembles, or just for fun! The material was soft ans properly seqn, the rosewood pipes were sturdy and apprared hand carved. Very fun!
