Q: Would replacing the casters with better casters help? Is it also wobbly?

It wasn't wobbly. My problem wasn't with the wheels as much as it was with the strength of the welds on the legs.

Q: how much weight can this hold?

This stays in my closet,donot use too unstable for me, I am accustomed to draw/paint do fine aer and commercial woerk while standimng. I can no longer stsnd du to arthritiss., butmoslty dueto stenosiis /I am unstablt and 80 uyrs old 80 years. amd as you see I cannottype snymore..The problem is not due toanything else nameley my infirmties,,,i.er. not the little three whjeel stool. I big person, carrying too muich weight has to have longer legs than do I.@ 66 inches tall./ 220.lbs. The stool has its limitations, ya gotta have excelent balance, more exactly like a two wheel bike.

Q: Is this stool stable for elderly?

We found it to be uncomfortable and not stable.
