High quality and genuine
Genuine DID rivet type master link as advertised. Arrived promptly, which is really important when doing mechanical work! I've used these multiple times due to experimenting with sprocket sizes and adjusting chain length. Does not come loose and always rivets properly with the right technique and tools.

If you have a basic factory chain, you owe it to yourself to upgrade
Smoother, quieter, better power delivery. What's not to love about a good chain? This is that perfect balance of price point and performance. Most bikes come with very basic chains and they wear out fast, make more noise and generally don't do your bike any favors. I wish I'd replaced mine much sooner.

Gold chain
Quality is amazing, great fit, sorta easy to install , but master link was a little difficult to put on but used some Chanel locks to compress the o rings, looks great on my bike.

Perfect fit on 2020 KTM Adventure 390
For the 2020 KTM Adventure 390 you need the 114 link option. The chain comes with the master link and I bought an extra one just to keep in my bag. Some people complain about not being able to get the master link on, but there’s a simple trick. Just before the last step when you apply the clip, you need to use some pliers to compress the sides of links together. Basically you just want to squeeze the parts together which will force just a little grease out. One trick is to put a nut with a hole larger than the pins right over the pin and then clamp it. I also put a sock over my pliers so as to not scratch the chain. Once you’ve done this the master link clip will go on and you can use a flathead screwdriver to push the clip over the second pin. There’s a video on YouTube where a guy shows how to install this exact chain on a CR450F. The chain doesn’t have a direction in case you are curious, but the clip should be installed so that the closed end goes in front when the chain moves as you push the bike forward. This is just to minimize the chance of the open side of the clip from catching a stick or rock when riding and coming off (which is probably pretty unlikely).I believe the gold on the chain is Titanium Nitride, which is the same very hard gold-colored metal used to coat quality drill bit sets. I have a gold mountain chain and KMC specifically says that’s the material. I assume DID used the same material though I didn’t read that on any of their website.Well, that’s about all I have to say about that.
