Long nozzle for kitchen sink
I have refilled this thing a few times. I was unsure about the smaller one, but was wanting to upgrade from the top dispensing bottle from the store, and the larger capacity model became unavailable at the time.My sink sits behind a bar, and the shorter height means one less thing peeking out into the living room. A fair trade for me.The jar wide mouth makes it exceptionally easy to fill, and the tube on the inside goes all the way to the concave bottom. It does not stop until the dispenser is empty. The longer spout is not unlike that of an in-sink dispenser (this I promise you), allowing soap to be delivered for dishwashing without having to pick up the bottle. It's not perfect, but the problems only show if you neglect using it.The jar is plastic. I mistakenly thought it to be glass, as I was looking for a heavier bodied dispenser to be more stable once the volume of the soap was diminished. But it functions so well that it's not a problem. The base is a water trap. Completely level at the bottom, there's a non slip ring in the lip and nowhere for any water to drain from. I solve this by resting an edge on the slightly raised overfill ledge of the sink and changing its position occasionally so puddling isn't as great an occurrence.Use it every day. I've had clumps of hardened soap emerge from the spout, a notorious issue with dispensers, and it's worse if it's ignored for a few days. Using the bathroom soap instead, takeout, frozen pizza, living alone and not needing to wash everyday can contribute. As most of these apply to me, I have to be aware, and this may render the dispenser useless eventually if I'm not mindful. In spite of all of that, it's currently doing the job I need it to.Soap.As a final note, not an issue I've had, my Mom bought something similar, and had trouble feeding her kitchen soap through. I use the Seventh Generation soaps, and those tend to be of a lower viscosity. I'm not sure something more concentrated would be an issue here but may be worth some consideration if anyone might have said problem.

Great Soap Pump
I ordered this for my mother a few months back, so she’s had it for a while now. I feel like it’s been long enough to give a good review. It’s held up perfectly, and she’s happy with the performance. So far, it hasn’t leaked, which was an huge plus for her, and its design keeps it upright when depressing the pump, so it hasn’t tipped over either. She says it’s easy for her to refill, so she doesn’t need to leave large dish soap bottles around her sink. It was worth buying this one, as opposed to something at a dollar store!

The long stem is a nice feature
UPDATE: So... I've actually been using this for years. Same as the original review, I'm very happy with it and the long stem/nozzle is in my opinion the most indispensable feature of this and any other acceptable soap dispenser.Today after years of using it, something happened. The pump honestly had always resisted, required some force to dispense a small amount of liquid. I thought this was either a normal feature since only a small amount of dishwashing liquid is required at any time, or that this was because of the thickness/weight of the liquid itself. Literally years of this. Gradually it got a little worse over time. This morning while washing dishes the stem actually popped out from the force. So I tried scrubbing it with a small straw brush through each side of the bend and still almost no water flowed through. Then I took it to my workshop and scraped with a pick... nada, no air flowing through. So I pushed a punch through and felt something come loose; out from the long side and onto the floor landed a small steel ball bearing. Now I can't tell you why as I don't know about these things. It's possible it is part of the design and it serves some purpose like preventing the liquid from drying out or emptying the stem when not in use. But I can tell you that suddenly now my quality of life has gone up just a tad.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The long stem is my favorite part. Its also sized just right to fit on the back shelf of the sink and it looks nice. No issues with pumping or retaining dishwash liquid in the pickup tube. Dispenses well and easy to control. I'd easily buy this again.

Innovative design works great
I was drawn to this dispenser because of the long spout. That makes it easy to use where it sits with less mess. The dispenser pumps the detergent out into the sink where the water is without getting it on the sink itself. I have the pump conveniently located on my sink for quick clean up of single items. Dish soap is the best for cleaning greasy hands too. The minimal touch action of the pump works great for this and other tasks. This unique design with the long spout works great and is exactly what I was looking for.

Good product!
It's very well made, I love that long spout the soap don't drop on the counter, that was the reason I chose it but still feel it's little over priced for its made of plastics.

Great kitchen aid
Love this soap pump! Doesn’t run down the sides doesn’t go all over my counter right onto my sponge and over my sink. I actually went and bought my parents and my sister one that’s how much I loved it. So if you have a soapy messy counter after washing dishes because the soap drips all over the place This is your solution!

Fine but leaks
I like it but the pump leaks a stream of my soap from the spout. Annoying flaw. Wastful but I kept it because I like the push pump dispenser in my sink. It is light weight which is why it is cheaper than a heavier dispenser so it falls into the sink often. Othwise it's fine
