The Horcrux Bookmark Collection

This is a pretty awesome set, and the price is a bargain. I'm generally very pleased with things from the Noble Collection, but I was a little skeptical of these. I wanted to get this set for ages, but felt a little wary. The Noble Collection is generally rather pricey, so thirty dollars seemed kind of cheap for what was being advertised. But I just received these today and I'm very pleased.I didn't really buy them to use as bookmarks, I just thought this was a great set of the horcruxes to add to my HP collection. But they are well made and I definitely believe they would hold up if someone wanted to use them. I think some make better bookmarks than the others, though. These are sturdy, but that means they're also kind of heavy and probably awkward to slide onto a book page and have it stay. (Unless you're the type to put a bookmark in and then leave your book on the nightstand. I bring my books everywhere with me, and tossing a book with one of these in my purse would probably result in me losing my page.) The lightning bolt and ring seem like the best to actually use.This set is lovely to look at. The details are great as well. I have an official replica of the locket and the design on this one looks nearly the same. (Many lower quality versions of the locket don't really look like the one from the films. You could actually get away with stringing a chain through this and wearing it, and I doubt anyone would realize it was a bookmark.) Nothing about these bookmarks says 'cheap' and this would be great for younger or older fans. These look much nicer in person than they do in the photo.The bookmarks without visible tabs have them on the back. The cup says "Hufflepuff" on the back, the diadem says "Ravenclaw" and the lightning bolt says "Harry Potter." They come in a plain, black cardboard box, which says "Harry Potter" in gold tone on the front. They are a bit tricky to get out of the box, but that's actually better if you want to display them in it.All in all, a great set for fans of the movies, books or both. They look fantastic, would hold up well with use, and are easy to display in the box they come in. And the price is a steal. If you're on the fence about these, go for it.

I got this as a gift from my husband for Christmas. He nailed it! To be fair I had added this on my amazon wish list earlier in the year and he just decided to go through the list and select a few options for my gifts, but I still love them! They are very durable and quite lovely. This box is sturdy enough to keep them in but the plastic piece that the marks rest on inside the box is extremely think and fragile making it not kiddo proof. Our oldest son is only on the 4th Harry Potter book so I leave this box closed as not to spoil the 7th boom.

I bought this for a HP Halloween party scavenger hunt. They were a hit with both kids and adults. Smaller than I thought they were but easier to hide. As book marks some of them are too heavy and rip pages. They are very pretty and close miniature to the real things.

Bought this as a gift, and was overall pretty pleased with it.The diadem bookmark was unfortunately just painted a bright blue, which did make it look cheap. A blue rhinestone would look better.This set can't really be used as actual bookmarks because the metal is heavy and thick enough to damage pages.That said, it's still a great gift for an avid reader and Harry Potter fan - but as trinkets to display. The bookmarks are solid, with a nice weight to them. They come in a paper box with a foam insert that keeps every bookmark in place, which helps with displaying.

We purchased these as part favors for my daughter's birthday party. We essentially had them hunting horcruxes. I simply hid these bookmarks and came up with Harry Potter themed clues to each one, the girls had a wonderful time figuring out the clues, running around the house trying to find them and in the end divvying them up as small party favors. The quality is excellent and would be suitable for a collector of Harry Potter items, to just have on a shelf

These bookmarks are so beautiful and detailed that I keep them in the box because I'm afraid to lose or damage them by using them, although they are very obviously well-made. A few of them are a bit heavy, so I don't think that I would place them on a single page for fear that the page might rip under the weight, but I'd rather have that then a flimsy bookmark and these bookmarks can easily clamp over several pages. I would recommend this set for Harry Potter fans, since every true HP fan reads books!
