Good quality product
Used these to cover the builder’s-grade rough stair treads and risers after we removed the carpet from our staircase. They were very high quality, I just wish the 48 inch treads came with the return molding on the edges, then we wouldn’t have had to make any cuts at all. I was very pleased with this product!

SIZE too SMALL for Standard STEPs
It is sold as and gives the impression that it fits standard size steps ---It DOES NOT --- I wanted to install them to a 20 year old basement stairs and the treads are not wide enough ----there is about an inch missing from the width ---- I opened all the boxes - stained and painted the treads and rises and unable to install them because not wide enough ---- the company's response was that I should have measured before opening the boxes ---- never thought I had to for a standard staircase ---- the nose from each step was removed prior to trying to install the treadsDo not buy assuming they will fit as they are advertising ---falseAfter the fact I looked at reviews to see if this was a problem with others and saw that it is - Wish I had looked ahead of time

You'll need to do some extra work, treads are too short
As the others have said, these treads are too short and do not fit nicely over existing stairs. Ended up removing the bull nose from the treads underneath and adding quarter round to cover the gap where the riser meets the tread. after the extra work and slightly more cost the stairs look great.

No good
To short for normal steps make sure you measure before you buy also tried to return it but postage wasn’t paid had to pay my self and the shipping company told me how much shipping was and it was more than I paid for the product so now I have some expensive fire wood

Make sure it’ll work or your being charged 50% of sale price
Purchased to see if it would work for my application. Had to send back and they hit me with restocking and damage to product. Buy somewhere else make sure it will work or they will deduct 1/2 the sale price for restocking that’s not stated in their posting.

TOO NARROW
ONLY LIKE 10" WIDE, EQUIVALENT TO A SCAM UNLESS YOU HAVE A TINY HOUSE/STAIRS. BUMMER.

Make sure you measure the width of the tread!
Make sure you measure the width of your riser. It’s only 10.5”. The other kits I purchased from Home Depot were 11.5. Thus the width on the three kits I purchased are too short.
