Bought for £25 on prime day. This is great for hot soups and to keep all the foods hot inside. Amazing product and great investment. Very pleased.

The stanley food jar is well constructed. It is a tough item. The opening to put your food in is wide enough to make that process effortless. It holds enough food for a large meal. It keeps hot food hot and cold food cold depending upon your needs. Worth the purchase.

It is an amazing food jar. I conducted a heat preservation test on it. I poured boiling water at 97.3 deg.C and it was found 50.6 deg.C after 20 hours.

A superb flask, very well made metal construction and perfect for holding 2 cans of 400g soup, which is perfect for an afternoon/evening camping adventure in the colder months. Whatever you chose to put in the flask, it will stay warm all day!, and would imagine anything cold would stay cold all day in the summer too (ice cream?). No noticeable heat escaped to the outer shell of the flask in my backpack throughout the day, showing how efficient the flask is. The top is nice and wide, allowing for eating straight from the flask with a long reach spoon. As with all flasks, the lid also doubles up as a cup/mini bowl. Finally, the lid stopper seems solid and a good o-ring seal has never leaked even with the flask being inverted all day. Highly recommended product. I would also recommend their classic 0.7l drinks flask for your coffee or tea as the great companion to this one! it may seem bulky carrying 2 flasks but your not carrying a cook system and pots and pans...

This size is good for what I'd consider a normal sized lunch for an adult - lots of others are too small, but this fitted the bill perfectly. I'm on a work placement where there is no microwave, and I like to eat a hot healthy meal rather than sandwiches which is the only thing on offer. I tend to put boiling water in the flask and leave it for as long as possible, but, in a rush in the mornings, it tends to be 5 mins. I microwave my meal then scoop it in. Sometimes a little goes over the edges as it's a wide opening but not huge. I screw it back up and then leave it usually for about 5 hours. My meal is warm, much cooler than I would like to have it if I had a choice. I almost returned it because of this, but the alternative was cold meals and the Stanley keeps it warm, with steam sometimes. Before the Stanley I was eating my meals cold and this is definitely better! I have noticed that some dishes seem to change flavour once they've been left in the flask... I am trying to determine what it is but as yet haven't figured it out. It's really easy to clean too. Just wish the food was kept a little hotter, but this still seems the best solution for me.

I love this flask. It's suitable to keep either one huge portion for 1, or smaller portions of food for 2. I've used this to experiment with small batch thermal cooking. The only thing worth noting is that there is no pressure release button, so do take care to open this slowly, and facing away from your face, because of slight pressure build up from the hot liquid/ food. But this also means that there are no loose bits that can come unstuck, which makes this particular flask very sturdy. It's easy to wash, as it has a wide opening. Whether you just want to take a decent portion of for food to go, or maybe even wish to finish cooking food that has been brought to a boil in the hob, this can be your go to tool for that. Especially if you want to save on energy, this is a great item to have. Do remember to preheat it prior to filing with a little bit of hot water, for maximum efficiency.

The food jar is well design. Though pricey, when one considers how long it kept food hot or cold, then it's worth every penny. The only thing I'll suggest to the maker, Stanley, is to consider something with wider and less tall - I meant a proper food jar/container with 1.0 ltr, 1.5 ltrs, and 2.0 ltrs capacities. The version they currently have that fit into this category is somewhat too small. If they would consider this, it will revolutionize the market and give people something better and bigger. Nevertheless, the Classic Legendary Food Jar 0.94L does what it says on the tin.

Solidly constructed from enamelled double wall metal with a metal cup and plastic bung. So far this has performed flawlessly. I heat my soup at 5am, which I then eat at 2pm. I pre heat the flask with boiling water for a couple of minutes, empty it, pour in hot soup and screw in the bung and screw on the cup. The soup is still piping hot 9hr later.I think the bung is insulated on this jar which means it keeps the heat in better. On my last food jar, a Thermos, the bung wasn't insulated so the bung and cup got warm during the morning - a clear sign of escaping heat - and the soup was often luke warm (hence I replaced it with this).It's not the smallest food flask - it's getting on for twice the height of the Thermos, so bear that in mind for your bag. The height is also a consideration for cleaning - you'll need a brush to get to the bottom, although it is dishwasher safe apparently.Overall so far I'm delighted with it. It keeps the soup hot, so what's not to like?

Ben hep çorba taşımak için kullandım. Kaynar çorbayı koyduktan sonra 3 saat sonra ağzımı yakacak kıvamda idi. Kapağında içtim. Sonrasında 1 saat sonra 1 kapak kadar daha içtim. Önceki saat açılmasına ve hava almasına rağmen hala ağzımı yakacak sıcaklıktaydı. Ve en nihayetinde totalde 5 saat sonra da son kalanı içtim ve hala ağzımı yakacak kadar sıcaktı. Zannediyorum kapağı hiç açmadan 8 saat sonra da o çorbayı sıcacık içerdim. Taşıması el çantası veya küçük market poşeti gibi bir şeyde oldukça kolay. Makineye kolay sığar, ağzı geniş olduğu için doldurması da kolay (küçük kepçe tavsiye ederim) ve temizlenmesi de makinede oldukça rahat. Bende 0,94 ltlik olanı da var, O uzun mesela , makineye nispeten zor sığıyor. Ama onun da tutma kulpu var ve hacimden dolayı daha uzun sıcak tutar. Siz ihtiyacınıza göre ikisinden birini gönül rahatlığıyla alabilirsiniz.

Sapının tutuşu da oldukça rahat ve ergonomik; "ben baştan aşağıya kaliteyim arkadaş" diyor resmen ürün elinizdeyken.Velhasıl bir "termosa bu kadar para verilir mi kardeşim?" demeyin, Stanley ise kesinlikle verilir.
