The Wheels on the Bus (Jane Cabrera's Story Time) Board book – Illustrated, July 14, 2020

We love all of these books by Jane Cabrera. Beautiful illustrations, fun songs written in a new way, a hit for all my littles from1-6 years old. This book in particular is my 19 month old's favorite. :)

All of Jane Cabrera's books are delightful, but this is my toddler daughter's favorite. We both have the whole thing memorized, and unlike with some children's books, that's not a bad thing! A sweet, catchy twist on the wheels on the bus that is fun to sing/read. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful twist on a classic - great for any "Wheels on the Bus" fan.Instead of the classic lyrics, the lyrics in this version revolve around all the animals on the bus - e.g. the lion on the bus goes roar roar roar, the zebra on the bus goes chomp chomp chomp, the crocodile on the bus goes snap snap snap, etc. At the end the driver giraffe tells all the animals to get off the bus - as they've finally reached the swimming hole!Jane Cabrera's illustrations are also gorgeous. They really evoke being in the jungle in Africa. Lush colors and thick brush strokes.My 22mo old son is a huge fan of this book! It even dislodged his lifelong top favorite book, The Wheels on the Bus pop-up book by Paul Zelinsky (also highly recommended), which is saying a lot. This is now the first song he is learning to sing all by myself - the first time I heard him singing it made the original purchase price worth it right there.Highly recommended for any young Wheels on the Bus fan, I'd say from 18mo up.

Great for babies & toddlers, especially when reader can sing the song.

Such a great book for younger children…granddaughter knows the words and shares w/me, the story!

Absolutely charming colorful graphics for this classic.

We all know the tune, but this book is sturdy & colorful...very attractive to baby! Tune is fun, with all the noises!

My bosy (1 and 3) knew the standard "wheels on the bus" song since I've been singing it to them longer than they can remember but they really like the animals and the sounds they make. My older son (3 years) discovered this book at our local library and had to have his own copy. He also wanted one for his new baby cousin
