Impressive results... now I can overclock
Bought this video card adapter for my eVga GTX 770 w/ACX OC. Removed the stock cooler simple enough, cleaned the old paste off and placed and screwed on the new cooler adapter HG10. Then mounted a new Corsair H105 liquid cooling system and am very impressed with the results. With the stock cooler and card stock from the factory I would get anywhere from 70C-81C running Battlefield 3 or Battlefield 4 on ultra 1920x1080. Those temps are necessarily bad, as the 770 is made to handle up to 98C, but to ensure I get the most life out of my computer equipment, I want to try and take care of it. So this cooler now brings my temps down to 51C max after playing Battlefield 4 on ultra for hours. Unbelievable... it works very nicely and the H105 is fairly silent as well, so it doesn't make my PC sound like a leaf-blower.Old temps w/stock cooler and stock card (no manual overclock):Idle: 33C up to 38C at timesBattlefield 4 on Ultra: up to 81C, usually would average 72C+ but fluctuate based on graphics demands (large explosions, fire, etc)New temps w/HG10 and H105 liquid cooling (stock card, no manual overclock):Idle: 29C, up to 33CBattlefield 4 on Ultra: 51C-52C max, usually stays around 48-49CVerdict:Great adapter, keeps VRAM cooled, and properly cools the GPU when paired with my Corsair H105. Adapter and a liquid cooler are pretty pricey if considered strictly for cooling, but if your temps are out of control and the card is running too hot, I would highly recommend grabing this adapter and a Corsair H60 or something and that should help control your temps tremendously.Note 1:I'm seeing a lot of comments saying "doesnt cool VRAM" - not sure what you mean by that. This adapter has thermal pads that are directly applied onto the VRAM when mounted properly. This in turn makes the entire adapter a giant heatsink... so yes, it does properly cool VRAM and all necessary components of the video card. Saying it does not is incorrect. The NZXT Kraken version of this adapter does not cool VRAM. I studied it closely as I considered it an alternative to this Corsair HG10, but the NZXT Kraken does not have thermal pads or anything touching part of the VRAM which will lead to overheating and high temps, hence back to square one.Note 2:Statements saying "fan is loud" - unlikely. My HG10 is really quiet, spins at stock speed and is unnoticeable - so you may have a faulty fan/card.

Short of instructions, was a really good unit. EVGA GTX 770 SC
Great product - POS instructions.Works with the EVGA 770 GTX SCUsed a Corsair H100i GTX high Performance cooler. Was confused with install as both manuals said read the other.basically:Take all the screws out the back of the card. When removing card be sure to unplug the cooler fan from the ACX cooler on the 770 from the card itself. Now that the ACX cooler is removed from the card, there is a guard plate you should remove that also. You should now see chips and no other plates covering the card.Clean the GPU with with microfiber cloth of in my case brand new freshly washed towel.Remove stickers from back of this bracket, the stickers cover the pink pads that will do on the RAM chips.Gently place card close enough to fan connector, connect fan do not press hard down.Gently turn card over and screw in using 6 provided screws. 1 Goes in the middle 2 on both sides of the PCI -E connector 1 by SLI bridge connector, 2 on top of card.Make sure is fastened good but Do not over tighten. Now flip card over and here's the easy part the instructions left out.Add the 4 nut looking screws to the 4 screws that make a square shape. These screws came with this product and not the CPU Cooler.Connect seperatly ordered cooler using pre-mounted intel bracket on the Cooler. AKA you will have an extra bracket dont worry this is normal, there should only be 1 silver / Gold bracket on the Cooler - Intels is a Square AMDs is a Ninja star looking thing. The H100i comes premounted with the intel, since its already on no need to make ANY modifications. Screw cooler onto the 4 screws. Connect card to board. Connect cooler to case.I hope this helped someone.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS.... THIS IS JUNK AND DAMAGED MY R9 290
NEGATIVE 10 STARS.... THIS IS JUNK AND DAMAGED MY R9 290 AND GIGABYTE DID NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY.... COST ME $350 FOR A NEW GRAPHICS CARD BECAUSE THIS GARBAGE DOES NOT HEATSINK ALL OF THE VRAM AND IT BURNS OUT THE CARD. IT DOES NOT EVEN COME WITH A FAN. DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO DAMAGE YOUR GPU CARD.

The Best Solution For Those Of Us With Extra Corsair Coolers!
I used to use an H100i on my cpu, but since changing to a smaller and incompatible case, I had purchased a h80i for my cpu. Now, I managed to mod the case so I could fit the H100i and was wondering what to do with my leftover h80i. After some google searching.. BINGO! My 780ti was running very loudly and very hot and I thought this might be my saving grace. Once installing this cheap mod, my temperatures LITERALLY HALVED.BEFORE (Stock Heatsink and Fan) I was idling around 45-degrees and under full load the temps peaked at about 87-degrees. As you can imagine, the fan was spinning like its life depended on it (which technically is true) making it always the loudest part of my system.AFTER (HG10 with H80i) My idling temperature has dropped DRAMATICALLY. I just finished playing Crysis 3 about 10 minutes ago, and my gpu temp is already down to 23-degrees! I'm using the stock fans that come with the h80i in push-pull fashion, and they remain at 45% at all times (Just quiet enough to blend in with the rest of my system noise). When under full load, the card jumps up to the mid 40's within a few minutes, then over the course of an hour or so slowly creeps up into the low 50's. I haven't seen my card hit the 60's since I've installed the HG10.All in all, I probably wouldn't recommend going out and buying an h80i or similar just to pair it with the HG10. (H80i is WAY overkill anyways). You're better off buying a separate all-in-one GPU watercooler or building a custom one (If you don't mind the extra cash). But for those of us with an extra Corsair closed-loop water cooler lying around, this is like a gift from God himself! 10/10NOTE: As stated, this bracket ONLY works with Corsair Hydro Series CPU coolers. I wouldn't recommend trying it with any other cooler unless you're 100% it will be compatible.
